Mission and Vision

The Human Resources Unit works to find, grow, and retain the people needed to support CPN's mandate to control, supervise, and regulate information technology practice in Nigeria.

Objectives

Human Resources goes beyond routine personnel duties. It focuses on workforce planning, internal capability development, talent acquisition, performance management, employee retention, and alignment of staff skills with the needs of CPN's public mandate.

Responsibility and Core Functions

  • Supporting recruitment and selection.
  • Coordinating continuous learning and staff development.
  • Supporting competitive pay, welfare, and benefits administration within approved public-service rules.
  • Maintaining a healthy work culture and supporting staff wellbeing.
  • Managing staff records, leave matters, clearance processes, circulars, office notices, and related administrative tasks.

2026 Activities and Deliverables

  • Compiling and updating the organisation's nominal rolls in collaboration with Finance and Accounts.
  • Facilitating deployment and monthly clearance for corps members.
  • Maintaining staff records and issuing circulars or office notices as directed.
  • Processing staff leave matters, pay slip distribution, and pension-introduction letters.
  • Preparing leave rosters and submitting required documents to relevant government offices.
  • Serving as a liaison between management and employees at headquarters and regional offices.
