Chief Toyin Komolafe

Komolafe Akinyemi Toyin is the Director, Registration and Regulations at the Computer Professionals (Registration Council of Nigeria) [CPN], where he provides strategic leadership in the administration and regulation of professional registration, licensing, and compliance in Nigeria's computing profession.

He holds a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) degree in Economics from University of Ilorin in 1992, and Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Economicsfrom University of Lagos in 1997, a strong academic foundation that has equipped him with sound analytical, policy, and administrative capabilities. He also attended numerous professional development programmes, executive management courses, and regulatory training programmes which has continuously enhanced his expertise in public administration, professional regulation, and institutional governance. Before joining the services of the Council, Komolafe worked with the Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation (NDIC) as a Bank Examiner for over 10 years, and defunct Hallmark Bank Plc as an Internal Auditor for over 5 years.

As Director of Registration and Regulations, Komolafe has brought his extensive experience, professionalism, and strategic insight to bear in repositioning the Department. Under his leadership, the department has strengthened its operational processes, enhanced regulatory compliance, improved service delivery, and promoted greater efficiency in the registration and licensing of computer professionals across Nigeria. His commitment to excellence has contributed significantly to advancing CPN's statutory mandate of regulating and controlling the computing profession in line with global best practices.
