Dr. Muhammad Aliyu

Dr. Muhammad Aliyu is a seasoned computer professional, academic, and researcher with extensive experience in Computing, ICT policy, and professional development. He is a Lecturer in the Department of Software Engineering at ATBU Bauchi and holds B.Tech., M.Sc., and Ph.D. degrees in Computer Science.

Dr. Aliyu is the Foundational Chairman of the Nigeria Computer Society (NCS), Bauchi State Chapter, where he established the chapter and laid the foundation for its growth. He currently serves as the North East Zonal Coordinator of the NCS, providing leadership and coordinating professional activities across the region.

A registered computer professional with numerous scholarly publications, he has made significant contributions to research, cybersecurity, cloud computing, artificial intelligence, networking, and digital transformation. As a member of the Governing Council of the Computer Professionals (Registration Council of Nigeria) (CPN), he is committed to advancing professionalism, ethical practice, innovation, and capacity development in Nigeria's ICT sector.
